Hi All,

I'm a total newbie to this forum - so be gentle ;)

I think everyone is right that what works for one doesn't necessarily work for others - but I've recently had a lot of emotionally upsetting experiences that I personally couldn't cope with - for some reason my higher self took over as a matter of automatic self defence.

Since then I've started to feel that meditation etc is purely a visualisation of the reality. To get to the higher self, simply I've found that shedding my attachment to negativity and totally letting go works far more simply and effectively than hours of meditation.

It makes me think that perhaps all these devices and stresses are merely distractions on the road to enlightenment.

This is currently my working theory anyway.
I'd love to hear everyone else's thoughts ;)

Hi all
newbie here

I had someone take a look at my chakras for any blockages. They found on my heart chakra it had mirrors pointing out and thorns around them.
I - myself have no idea what this means.
also I don't know how they got there. If it is our guides and team who are helping these to work and protect. I wonder why they have done this to me?
Also I'm not very good at visulising (or spelling the word - ha ha) so when someone says look at your chakra spinning - what are they doing? are they clean? do they have aanything around them?
I just don't really see them. or anything else on them. So I wouldn't know how to close them or protect them or if they are wide open or imbalanced, I have know idea.
But I think when they say close the chakra's - I think it means close them off to other energies - negative energies. Just like closing your front door. You can still walk around the house inside, but no-one can get in - until you open the door.

to be honest and in my opinion

when someone says your chakkras are blocked or have issues usually its with a if you pay me £££ then i will clear it for you.

Chakkras cannot be blocked or cleared by anyone as (imo) they cannot be blocked

Hi again

This is a close friend that did this during a circle group, So will definelty not in for £££.
It's just a funny question. but on the previous part of this thread, some-one said about leaving it in the hands of your spirit guides, they are the ones who can adjust your chakras or something.
I just wondered if they had put this around the heart chakra - why??
It's all strangely wonderfully odd,
I'm quite knew to the techinally of the spiritual side of life, always knew there was something else out there since I was a kid, but never got round to finding all about these different things.
EG chakra's angels, reiki, basically the spiritual walk of life.

I think sometimes we can refer to a block as something physical that stems the flow of the lifeforce thats vital for our wellbeing.
Now whether people say that the meridians or the chakras are blocked it normally means that there are mental / emotional / spiritual issues that needs to be dealt with / cleared up. ( Issues of sorts as Gaz mentioned) Of course healing always helpes as well as other alternative therapies but It's normally always the case that we need to heal ourselves in someway. Sometimes we feel we don't know how or that we don't have the strength 2 do so.

That's interesting.
Maybe it is me that has put the block up.
I am so happy with my relationship and love from my daughter, that I may have put a block to stop any external relationship to interfere.
So maybe you don't have to close your chakra's just put up personal protection from outside influences.
So the next thing is how to take it down? as so you may open them up but protectivley.
Sorry - I seem to have taken the subject of closing chakra's down away. I apologize for this.
Maybe some can be closed (or protected so well they may seem closed)
It's all a learning thing.
It's also interesting how the other thing with the chakra work,
please could you tell more of how the thunder, wind, and other things work with the chakra's, I have never heard of this and expect not many other people have either.
