I have read it and recommend it. It does give you a lot of food for thought. The whole series is very interesting as long as you remember it is a work of fictioon.

As a general rule, I do not read fiction, ... but reading this many years ago just reinterated for me why I don't ..lol, ...and I have not gone there since. Waste of time as far as I am concerned, but hey, each to their own yeah?. Just giving a different persective for you to consider. If you could borrow a copy, great, read it ... but personally I would not reccomend anyone spend their money on it.

i'm reading this now, and can honestly say that some of the content could have been written with me in mind.
aside from this though, if the meaning of life was truly this simple, i think it would have been figured out by now. interesting thoughts in it though. dru xx hi everyone, been gone a while. off line, but have managed to infiltrate the "nanny net" in work lol. might be able to pop in a little more often. unfortunately, this doesn't apply to the chat room. verrrry off bounds. hi ho, might get on line again soon. xxxx

I believe the auther of these books put his idea's into an adventure parable first, so's not to openly suggest these concepts, but, when he got the responce he was looking for, he felt more comfortable to put them forward in his other book, The Celestine Vision, it's non-fiction and is direct in putting these idea's forward.
I got the feeling the book was talking directly to me, like when talking of particular situations, that applied to me, he used the terms him, her/he, she instead of them and got it right most times. I know he just makes assumption on witch sex is more likely to be the charicter in the situation but he does it supprisingly accuratly |

Hi. I haven't read this book but some friends have suggested it to me, they didn't mention that it was fiction but I guess if what Jabonus is saying is true, then it isn't really fiction, it is just presented that way. This can be a good thing, narrative is easier for us to accept than lists of facts sometimes. If the bible had been written as an instructional text book, maybe it wouldn't have been such a best seller? just a thought

I've read this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. It certainly made me think twice about things.
