for some its just a distinction between types of evils they come across. but i tend to believe that they are completely separate entities and can be dangerous. not saying that they can possess you and force you to kill someone...and thus you say the demon made you do it....that is just plain silly. but i think ppl can get possessed...or touched but i dont think on any level like in The Exorcist...thats Hollywood. but i also think that we rarely come into any threatening contact with demons unless we summon them (intentionally mostly) or someone caused their active presence in that area. like using an ouija board and what not. -- the little boy pailinl describes doesnt seem to be any more evil than a living little boy. but that probably isnt the only presence in your house. i dont think your lives are in danger...but a poltergeist can cause a lack of sleep from scaring you....and that can be bad. sleep is healthy. regardless you gotta find a way for these things to leave. you should not have to burden yourself with selling a house and moving to another house. but things havent been thrown AT you have they? from all the stuff i hear...the throwing objects dont have any intent on hitting a person, just scaring. but i still understand your concern...with the kids and all. best of luck to you. |

In my opinion demons are just legend. They came out of an era when the church wanted to control the masses. I personally believe that God or the divine spirit made everything and is in everything. So how could the devil or a demon exist? That is not to say that human beings do not do bad things, and when they go to spirit they do not suddenly become angels! But that does not make them a demon. Just a spirit with a lot of negative energy. They will exist on a level with other like minded beings until they begin to see the God that exists in them. It is universal law that like attracts like and so we have no need to fear what energy we are attracting. There is so much fear that is generated by our own very powerful minds. Lets get things into perspective, shall we?

Hi thank you all your replies.
Just to say that the objects are thrown at anyone who happens to be in the way. The other day it was a large time of chocolates thrown at me and an Argos book thrown at my husband. The children have had toilet rolls and toothpaste thrown at them over the last few months. Recently the telephone has started to ring family and friends when we are not even in the house! They have said that it sounds like someone is on the other end of the line, but nobody speaks and then the line goes dead. My year old twins have taken to sitting on the stairs and talking to someone! I was about to tell me oldest daughter off for standing right behind me yesterday as I saw what I thought was he shadow right behind me but the room wsa empty!. I can no longer get a babysitter and my friend claims to have been jabbed in the back whilst walking down the stairs. My dad can no longer see, but says that the house has a horrible feeling about it and doesnt feel comfortable in there. My husband heard me callling him the other day twice from up stairs whilst I was out at work and has heard his name called many times. I have tried to look up the history of the house but dont really know where to start. If anybody has any ideas please let me know. If we werent so scared it would be facinating. |

You can try clensing your home by burning sage and asking them leave that they are no longer living ..

Hey, how are things going with the house? Did you manage to get anything sorted?
If you are getting unsettling feelings about the place and seeing shaddows then you should definitely not ignore it. Did you get in touch with the medium that PhatLas recommended? I hope you get something sorted hun. |

Thats scary. Personally things I can't see scare the living daylights out of me. I don't know anything about this sort of stuff but if it was me I'd just move outta the house. If it can throw Argos books it can throw bricks. Obviously though it doesn't want to injure anyone just scare them. That seems to be a reoccuring theme with haunting cases. These things usually just try to scare people or hurt them a bit but not kill them. That does sound like the behaviour of a little boy though throwing books and rubbish at people. I dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing but id be less scared of an angry little boys ghost than I would of an angry adults ghost. I'm not even afraid of having knives thrown at me or killed I don't know what it is about the idea of ghosts that scares me. I suppose its the unpredictability factor. You never know what the heck theyre gonna do next and where they are.
Have you lived in that house a long time? You said it only started when your family moved in. Get them to move out temporarily while you stay and see if things go back to normal. Edited by moderator - please do not use swear words. |

If you're still desperate and can't move out, you could do a lot worse than try the interesting technique one of the actors in Stephen King's 'Rose Red' always used. (Yes, I know it's only a story, but the author has done a great deal of research, so it might be worth a try!) He closes his eyes and says 'Not Real, Not Real! and the horrors disappear. I think you really have to think yourself into not believing there's nothing there, though, which would be very difficult with the children. If the strange beings are feeding on your fears, then perhaps as you grow stronger they will lose power in all aspects of their activity, and even the 3rd-party happenings such as the tv and the 'phone calls will stop as well. I'm no professional; it's just an idea which might help.

Mate, a quick and easy method is burning asafoetida on charcoal blocks several times a day for a few days. It requires no psychic skill and allows the ghost to unload it's etheric burdens, go to sleep and cross over into the Light. Burn it in the rooms most active or all through the house. It can smell like burnt garlic toast which I don't mind but others do.
It is also very hard to get. I have to buy it on ebay from America. A sweeter-smelling solution and easier to obtain is Dragon's Blood incense in stick or cone form. It's not as strong and will take longer but whatever suits you. You can also talk to him/them. It doesn't matter if you can't hear them, they can hear you. Explain they are in the wrong place and that they should have crossed over long before now where people who love them are waiting for them. They may not realise they're dead. No need to tell them but you can tell them to remember a favourite relative who's died or a special day they had with them. This will allow the connection between the two and the spirit will come forward to guide the ghost home. And it is FABULOUS when that happens Good luck. |
