I have always been a bit sensitive to certain houses, but since my husband and family have moved in nearly 3 years ago, we have experienced mist on the stairs. footsteps and running upstairs, covers have been pulled of the childrens beds, things thrown at us. We have also experienced black shadows on the upstairs landing, lights that keep blowing their bulbs, noises, bangs and things disappearing.
I was putting ironing away at the weekend and turned around to find some of the childrens socks missing. As I was searching the bedroom, they appeared on the bed which is across the other side of the room.
We are already spooked but then have started to receive calls from family asking why we have telephoned them in the middle of the night! We know we havent but they have mobile and telehone records showing our number dialing their mostly in the early hours! We contacted the telephone company but they insist they the calls came from our house.
we have been told by neighbours that it sounds like our television is on full volume, even when we are not there (I'm sure they think we are lying!)
I have to take my children to bed and stay up there until they fall asleep as they are too scared on their own. We have tried to make light of this but its not working.
We even tried having someone come to the house and do a house clearence, but this never worked!
Has anybody got any advice apart from ignore it or move out (not an option at present)

Hi,
Get a medium in to contact whoever or whatever it is that is doing all these things. Maybe there is some kind of poltergeist at work here. Do these events happen when a certain member of the family is around? Or does it happen when anybody is there? Although I note that neighbours complain of loud telly noises so maybe that last might not be that.

Just a thought anyway.

Dark = evil spirit maybe, but not demon. Thats plain silly.

Because it's just a myth to fuel peoples fear.

Don't worry, a decent medium will sort it.

What town and country is this?

Many thanks for your replies.

I decided to do something and asked if there was anybody there to let us see them (probably a silly thing to do!) Since my last posting both my children have complained of seeing a a boy in various rooms of the house, but mostly in my boys room. Both were asked to draw him and both pictures were the same! This boy has been seeing playing with toys and waving/smiling at the children. This only frightens my son as he has seen him walking back through the wall (there was a door at one time) and seems he likes to sit crossed legged on his bed.
We could cope with this although the children are very frightened, but it is the black flash which seems to be the problem. A book was thrown across the kitchen this morning and we are all having our names being called from various rooms of the house. We know when something is going to happen as the air in the house changes and we see two flashes of light in the corner of the room.
I was tempted to get someone in but have been told to be careful as this can make things worse.
Tried a Spiritulist Church, but was told by the medium that it was me they were following and that moving house wouldnt work! I have also tried to look up the history of the house but can't find anything.

This child spirit is like any other child,he's looking attention.You can say prayers and ask for him to be taken to the light by your own spirit guide. He may not realise he's passed.Send out a thought to him and tell him to look for the light where his family is waiting for him,bless him. I know its easy to say dont be afraid,he's throwing things like any child might cos, he's not being acknowledged.

This child that is seen could be a ghost rather than a spirit. That is, just a recorded memory of an event on the ether. If you are sensitive to it you can see it replayed. As far as not knowing he is dead!! How could any of us not know we were dead? Our loved ones would not be communicating with us and people from the spirit world would be there to help us. Sorry, but I don't buy this idea that we are not fully supported on the spirit side of life. Often an atmosphere in a house can seem oppressive if we are frightened. The more fear we create the more negative energy there is around us. Often it is as simple as that. I think you found the wrong medium to come and visit your house. Not sure if she was trying to tell you that the spirit is one of your loved ones who has crossed over, but why would they follow you otherwise? I feel that she has just created more fear for you. I would try a different spiritualist church for help. I am sure there is an explanation here that will make you feel better.
