I really want to recieve some sort of communication from my guardian angel. I have read that some people recieve some form of communication i.e telepathic repsonse, a vision etc on what their guardian angel/spirit guide looks like, name etc but i can't seem to achieve this. I don't know whether this is an appropriate thing to do but recently i asked out there for some sign but didn't get anything.

I also asked for a sign like a white feather to appear to me unexpectantly but i did'nt get that either.

I have a stressful job and have issues in my life that causes me to be stressed and i understand that that it can be hard for your angel to come through if there is negative energy around.

What advise out there can anyone give me to become more intune with my guide/angel?

Last week though weird things have been happening in my house. Like i will put my car keys somewhere, when i go and pick them up they are not where i left them and reappear somewhere else. Just on Friday, i was in a hurry to get my son off to school, we were late. and i placed my clothes to get into on my sofa. When i went off to do something else and come back to get changed, they were not there. I searched high and low and found them somewhere else bizarrely. To be honest at that time, i was late for school, iwas late for work and was cursing and in the end before i found my items, i shouted 'who ever is doing this, stop playing games and give them back to me!'.

I am now worried that if this was intent to give me a sign from my angel, i was being rude and pushed it away!

Also my son is having some problems at school being picked on and being alienated by some unfriendly mums who are in a click and are encouraging their children not to play with him. We have also had him being bullied. I also want to get in tune with an angel who acts as a protecter for children. Who can i call upon though the spiritual realm to ask for advise and protection for him?

I am sorry for appearing ignorant in my knowledge and experience of Angels but am trying to develop on this.

I would really appreciate any response.

Hi Npyke, I have to mention that we are meant to try and keep the forum posts as discussion topics rather than requests for help and advice, saying that I have tried to cover the topics you mention and hope what I think is of help.

Mediums have spirit guides who help them link with spirit and we all have spirit guardians who may include our friends and loved ones who have passed over. Most of us will never see an image of them and many not even know they are near but saying that many of us are lucky enough to feel them close by. Whether or not you feel them I beleive they are there to help, support and guide you without effecting your free will.

We are often looking for signs that don't come or atributing things being signs when they are not, the main signs we get are little things that pop into our heads for no reason that remind us of people passed and make us smile, that little extra strength we find when we thought we had no more etc.

My cure for negative energy and stress is to open the windows and let the fresh air in while putting my favorite music on, whatever the mood though I know my guardians are still close whatever the energy or stress levels are.

Spirits are not minders and can not provide a bully proof cloak, thats why we have teachers and carers in schools, but they need telling to be able to act. Your love and the support from you and the school is the protection he needs, his guardians will guide him as best they can but in this world we have to fight bullies together, be they young or old.

I felt compeld to reply to your post. If you truely wish to make contact with your Angel maybe the first place you should start is your local spiritualist church (if they are affiliated with the spritualist national union or similar organisation) they can help you in safe environment open the channels (it worries me that with all the self help books and tv programmes etc out there that people are just opening themselves up without the proper protection) The things moving around are signs that the spirits have given you that they are with you and are trying to get your attention (maybe by making you late they were telling you to slow down?) You could try visualising a pink light of love and protection around your son but as the other person said it really is best to talk to the school and be open about the bullying, if don't get anywhere with the school go higher like the education authority, don't give up and don't give in! Ask for guideance and you shall recieve it (finding this site was a good start!) Love, peace & protection be with you always

Just ask them to surround you and support you. They are always around you and watch over you. Giving you signs and whatever else. Everything isnt noticeble unless you are aware of them. Just ask ANY Angel that watches over you (besides your Guardian Angel) to watch over you son and ensure the he is protected. Since your son is the one being bullied, then have him sit with you and ask his Guides and Angels for protection on that day. Children are very close to Spirit, so he will either feel them around him or see them, also hear them... whatever his strongest abilities may be.

If you want to speak with your Angels, just say hello. There is not form or fashion. People are led to believe you have to be the most gifted person in the world to hear them or feel them. Once you acknowledge them, you begin to establish, or reconnect with their energies, so then you will be able to feel them more closely physically.

You can do this, its simple, just tell them to touch you, and see what you get. Follow the sensation, it isnt in your mind, it is real -- DO NOT THINK about it, once you do that, then you are not going to understand the message they are giving you.

Well I believe I have been helped by an Angel but it was in a dream... ( you can read about in on the dream section)

I did not see what the Angel looked like, because the angel was behind me... it was more of a mind connection of KNOWING!! it was an Angel.... although I was aware of glow behind me, that the area where the Angel was standing was lit up .....

This Angel I suspect helps many people, i mean if this angel helped me , why wouldn't I asume this angel helps others in times of crisis.........

I totally understand trying to get a "sign" from the angels like a white feather as I also ask all the time. I read the gloria Hunniford book about her daughter Caron Keating & in she says how Caron kept seeing white feathers & after her death everybody else kept seeing them & this made me want them even more! I would go to bed at night & before I went to sleep would ask for a sign but I do think you can be a bit too desperate! I still haven't recieved the sign I want but I do know that whenever I think about angels & come to sites like this one I feel totally relaxed & warm. Maybe thats my sign? cuddlyflo x

I get a little confused with white feathers cos angels dont have, or need wings.

I know it is said spirit leave them as signs and i can accept this as they are very light and wouldnt require much energy.

Having said that there are too many feathers floating around in any case, I would prefer something a little different as a sign to let me know my spirit family and friends are keeping an eye out for me.

How can i make contact for the first time?

Start by listening. You need to get yourself quiet. Go into a quiet room. Shut out sunlight or distractions. Meditation helps. Get a meditation tape and get in tune with you. Some people pray a repetitive prayer over and over, (I like the rosary), some say a mantra, some listen to running water, and some people need to take long walks or runs. But figure out what it takes to get your mind quiet and listen. You may not hear anything at first. It may take you months or years of daily quietness before anything happens, (or nothing may ever happen, but meditation/prayer is still good for the soul). You may have to experiment with different ways to get yourself quiet but if you're asking "how to contact angels" you need to get in tune with your own rhythm before you can hear others.

Oh and if you hear your angel (a big IF, I can't guarentee this will work for you) you'll probably only get messages meant for you. It's an evolved gift to get messages for others and not a gift that's given too many.

Also when you are getting in touch with yourself think about why you want to talk to angels? If you want to because you think it will make people respect/like you or you think you can earn a little $$$ from it you probably won't hear anything. Messages are usually very personal for your soul's growth and sometimes they aren't things you want to hear.

By the way, I don't have the gift of receiving messages/visions for other people. I only get messages for my own soul's growth and progression.

I am confused by this comment. If people are fooling themselves that they have this 'gift' then how on earth can any spirit of any quality use them to lead others down the wrong path? - (whatever the wrong path is). Would they not have to actually have the 'gift', be a medium, and not fooling themselves at all to have any contact with any spirit in the first place? I don't get it?
