Default Yes, dogs and animals do have psychic abilities!

Animals seem to have a natural psychic ability, where we normally have to develop them.

My grandad used to walk his dog around a lake, at the exact spot where someone was brutally murdered many years before, the dog would always start barking in distress. This was the only location around the mile walk that the dog got distressed in this way.

It was getting so annoying having to reach far into the branches to reach her so when we re designed the back garden we decided to pull up the weeping willow. When our next door neighbour saw what we did he told us that the willow was planted in memory of a small child that died only a few years earlier by falling down the stairs. We were shocked and sorry for pulling up the tree but couldnt re plant it so thought nothing of it. A few years after my rabbit died we got a dog and he regularly barks into corners and stands at the bottom of the staires barking and whining for hours. Do you yhink he can sense something? When my mum was 12 she had a binine tumer on her lung and was clinicly dead for a few minutes, when they operated to remove it, before bein revived and she can usually pick up on ghosts but has never mentioned seeing a child in the house. Is my dog just crazy?
Dogs can often sense spirits one of mine can.

I absolutely think that dogs, animals in general can sense them. We have dogs and cats in our home and they all seem to know when somethings about. The cats will raise up and hiss at mid air. The dogs will whimper and alert. Especially our lab. She seems to be most in tune. Sometimes in the nite and Ive seen it in the days when Im at home, she will get up and run about as if she is alerting to thin air. One nite she seemed to be playing games with them.. running around in circles and back and forth like she does with us when we are playing. So yes I really think that they can sense things that maybe we can not.

I agree.

Dogs, cats, horses - i think most if not all animals can sense or see spirits .

Thats why if my greyhound suddenly starts barking during an evening i praise her,not just for the protection
factor (she has a really great deep bark !) but also the fact that she can probably see or sense something there
so i respect her for that.

Animals seem to have some sixth sense, so your dog isn't crazy.

How about replanting a tree on the spot where you dug up the willow? Maybe it's the little girl who's a bit upset over it.

ya both of my dogs tend to stare into one corner of our house a whole lot...no windows anywhere in that direction. and having them both do it...really weirds me out. i like having them in my room at night because i feel safe as long as they arent barking or growling at something. if they dont do that...then nothing in my room is dangerous. besides its easier to sleep with company.

its known that animals tend to have different insticts and a heightened sense of things. this could explain them hearing things that we cant and then even seeing things that we cant.
