I don't think I would call it magnificent, there is something I can't put my finger on about the way it was filmed that does not appeal to me, (tho that's me) but it is interesting, touching, thought provoking, ... and called "5 people you meet in heaven", starring Jon Voight.

Watched The Five People You Meet in Heaven
It was a sweet heartwarming movie that reminds us that we are all part of one whole which is always great. It was nice to John Voight in a lead role. The movie was not in the same league as the Magnificient Ones but worth watching for its message. It was a made for TV movie.

Glad you enjoyed it!
I sent this movie to a medium in NZ who sends me books from time to time, and it turns out she got back to me with a story of how staying in a hotel once (in NZ) Jon Voight was there and asked if he could join her and her hubby in the restaurant for breakfast coz he waned to get a more personal feel for the locals. Of course they were chuffed and said he was a really lovely person. Nice to know the lead actor in such a movie really is a nice guy too. Nat xxx

No, sorry, I have not seen that one. Personally I did not like the book, but most people do so it's probably worth a watch.

Hi Intrigued,
I saw The Celestine Prophecy and was very disappointed because I heard so many great things about the book. I don't seem to remember any great reviews. The movie left no meaningful impression on me so thumbs down from me.
