now im not one that writes poetry in fact i never have lol but i put my thoughts down and this is what i found lol

Her beauty is so kind when she touches your soul
For now we know who she is
Each time she comes she lets us in
To feel her warmth as she explores within
To feel her wings as they appear
The love she brings will never disappear
For she is one I admire the most
To learn to excel and she can tell
She comes and goes and you know shes there
I just come for you to say hello
Her power so high it lifts you to the sky
For this angel is true
I am blessed to have been with you

THIS IS A POEM I WROTE FOR MY LITTLE SISTER WHO TRAGICALLY DIED .


I ALWAYS KNEW THAT YOU WERE SPECIAL,
YOUR NICKNAME SAID IT ALL,
IM PRAYING THAT YOU HEAR ME WHEN I TRY TO CALL,
I LOOKED AND SAW A FEATHER FALL DOWN FROM THE SKY,
IT MUST HAVE BEEN AN ANGEL TRYING TO SAY HI.

I WENT TO BED ALL SAFE AND WARM AND DRIFTED OFF TO SLEEP ,
THEN MY WISH CAM ETRUE IT WAS THE MOST HAPPIEST DREAM,
MY DREAM WAS YOU CAME BACK,AND YOU STAYED WITH ME FOR KEEPS,
YOU SMILED AND YOU SAID TO ME THAT I MUST NO LONGER WEEP,
YOU TURNED YOUR BACK AND SAID TO ME DENISE LOOK AND SEE,
YOU HAAD LITTLE FEATHERED WINGS THAT WERE GROWING GRACEFULLY ,
THEN MY HAPPINESS WAS TARNISHED AT THE THOUGHTS GOING THROUGH MY HEAD ,
YOU WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE AGAIN AND IDE BE ALONE INSTEAD.

THEN YOU SAID THE WORDS TO ME THAT I STILL CAN HEAR
THE LORD HAS MUCH FOR ME TO DO THATS WHY I CANT STAY HERE,BUT ANYTIME YOU NEED ME,
JUST CALL OUT MY NAME , AND WHEN YOU FEEL ME IN YOUR HEART ,I WILL FEEL THE SAME.
YOU SAID,THERES NO MORE NEED FOR SADNESS,NO MORE NEED TO CRY,
AND WHEN YOU NEED ME CALL ON ME IL BE RIGHT HERE NOW I CAN FLY .
THEN I WOKE FROM MY SLUMBER THE FEELINGS THAT I FELT,
WERE JOY,PEACE AND WONDER SOME AMUSEMENT WAS THERE ASWELL.
WHAT ID LIKE TO SAY TO YOU IS THAT I ALWAYS KNEW ,
IT WASNT JUST A NICKNAME YOU WERE AN ANGEL THROUGH AND THROUGH .

I know somewhere you can go for free and you can post all your poems there for people from all over the world to view and comment on...its a fab site and I have been a member for years and have over 200 poems that I have posted and recieved loads of wonderful comments on.. your work would get some great responses, give it a go and reply back when you do, with your pen name so we can check out your words and leave some fab comments...
