The reason I think goes back to ancient history, people like to believe they are at the center of the universe. This belief used to be religious, now it's "scientific" (big bang) but it's really still just disguised religion, it's a belief system with no proof.
Case in point, science says nothing can travel faster than the speed of light and the speed of light is too slow for practical interplanetary travel. Yet, I had an encounter 38 years ago with something that I have absolutely no doubt didn't come from this ball of dirt. Consequently, I know they get here, and I also know they get here fast, fast enough not to require food storage or even water or other long duration trip facilities. It's frustrating really, can't be open to learn about something if we're all convinced we already know. I was ten years old when I had my experience. I never told my parents because I didn't think they'd believe me. I recently blogged about it and it turns out my father read it. Now I'm "way out". Well, he's a very rigid German type, such things just aren't possible. It's very frustrating. |

This is what I posted on another website so I will just copy and paste it on here. Basically it's how I think about ufo, and aliens etc
I cant explain what is is that I saw but it was a silver ball rolling in the sky and after witnessing this the first time I always look up at the sky on a clear day and have seen more of this strange phenomena. I think alot of these things go un-noticed though as not many people have a good look around the sky. Now im not saying that what I saw was an alien craft, but it was definately unidentified aerial phenomena. I think alot of people are a bit dubious about saying they believe in aliens and stuff cos they are often laughed at......But dont you think it would be more strange to believe we are alone in this universe? I beileve in this and I also believe in alien abductions (not because I have experienced it) because I look at it like this......... Imagine you are a fish in the sea, and all you know is what is there in the ocean, then all of a sudden a boat hovers above you and the next thing you have a hook in your mouth and are caught and taken somewhere thats unfamiliar to your everyday life.....you are then put back in the water to carry on with what you are doing or you are caught and eaten.......lol. but do you see what I mean? The fish dont know what exists above them. I also believe this to be the case with alien abductions. And some people do go missing never to be seen again. There are so many stories out there that have lots of evidence to back up ufo's and aliens. However I dont believe all abductions are done by aliens, I believe the military play a part in this. (not all cases but some) I could go on for ever about this as I have read so many books on it and im often googling alien stuff. lol But to think we are alone is madder than to think there isnt another form of life somewhere in this universe. __________________ |

We have aliens on earth. What we call "not human" is alien. Animals are not human, so they must be alien, and insects. I have the first proof that can be proven of life in the universe and that we are not alone! I'll call CNN.

I feel it is healthy to be sceptical. If we were to believe everything we were told without question we would never explore and grow. We would 'progress' using only one set of beliefs. If the evidence was there and we could see/hear/feel etc people would be more likely to believe, but as with spiritual/religious matters without evidence which can be measured scientifically we come back to our own beliefs based on the evidence we have experienced.
I did experience something in the late 70's along with another witness but I said very little to anyone for fear about being laughed at (I wouldn't worry so much now!!). Later in the week stories appeared in the local press fron other witnesses about lights in the sky and car engines 'dying' beneath. I cannot explain nor comprehend what I saw but as I always question the 'ins and outs' of everything I could not put this down as alien, but neither would I say it was not. Personally I feel there must be life beyond this planet, I cannot imagine we on earth are the only ones in existance in the universe. And what about beyond? IMHO! phew, bit heavy that Love & Blessings Micki |

I think critically and I am religious. I cannot see that being religious removes our reasoning or analytical ability.
Weird! luv vi
