Aliens do exist why don't more people believe?
I just find it slightly worrying that most people can shrug of so easily the idea of no aliens. I think that they must exist not only on the evidence presented by thousands of people across the globe, but because officials, specialist etc can not disprove it! There are certain things which are happening which are unexplained and people just can not disprove that aliens are the cause. I think this is cause for concern and we should be more aware of the fact that they do exist! |

Aliens, do they exist? Well, perhaps we should define what an alien really is. If we can all agree that we are spirits having a human experience, then it just means that what we term as "aliens" are much the same except for the different body suit, and the fact that theyve chosen to incarnate on a different planet. They must be on the same mission as we, collecting experiences that enrich the soul. Do I think they exist here on earth? Yes I do, but knowing what I do about this race called man, would you reveal yourself as "not of this planet"? I think the time when we come to fully embrace the idea of "aliens" among us is approaching rapidly, but I dont think we are quite there yet. Pity that. On the other hand, if there are no aliens...it would be a really big waste of space, dont you think?

i find it impossible to think that there are no aliens and i find it pretty egotistical of us humans to think that we are the only ones in space. I think that the possibility of aliens on earth is highly improbable though not because i have a closed mind but because of many logical reasons one of which is from hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, which i find a very logical outlook o the universe, it's the fact that the average population of the universe is zero because the universe is so huge that only if a being inhabited every point in the universe would the average equal one i hope your following this... so because there's so many people on earth and because the nearest star is billions of miles away the nearest populated planet must also be miles and miles away add that to the probability that they have space flight capability and the possibility that they'd head our way and it all adds up to a high improbability that aliens have ever come anywhere near earth but it is still possible but i think that if aliens had really visited earth we would have absolute proof that they had as they probably would've tried to have made contact because after all one of the reasons for space travel is to meet new civilisations.
p.s apologies for the novel i have just written and i hope i haven't bored you to death |

I've never seen an alien, I've never seen a UFO, I've never seen "hard evidence" of life on other planets. However, to
assume that throughout the entire vast universe, earth is the only place with life would be ridiculous. Just because we can't see other planets with life does not mean they aren't there. The universe is practically infinate, our galaxy is huge(billions of light years), even our solar system is huge compared to earth. Sure there is no proof of life on other planets, but I don't think there's proof of NO life either. That is like saying I must not have a neighbor because I can't see their house. Kina |

Problem with most people is.
If the majority of people dont see anything that must mean that it doesnt exist. So when a small percentage of the population do, they are considered mad or making it up, all because the rest dont see anything. Then the professionals say that if life existed elsewhere, it would take hundreds of years etc. Who is to say they havent got ways of bending matter to create a worm hole to travel from one star to another in short times. Then they say, if they have this technology why dont they come invade us etc. Just because the human race is a warring race, and are suspicious of our own kind, does not mean are other off world civilisations. Personally I think there is other races in the universe, have they visited yet? Dunno perhaps they have or havent, maybe they dont want to say hi because we are savages to our own kind. But it would be foolhardy to think that we are the only life in existance. |

the "hard evidence" part of my reply was regarding these aliens visiting us, here on earth, and the whole "i can't explain it so it must be aliens" attitude. |
