I don't mean to be off topic or bashing or anything, but I HAVE to say this. You cannot fix global warming!!!! Global warming is a natural trend that we may have sped up by a few hundred or thousand years. That doesn't mean the government can FIX it. They understand that it's not profitable nor logical to try and do something about it, so they look at more important things, like the failing economy...
Ok, now that I've ranted, I will get back on topic. I'm a hardcore astrologer and the "end of the world" that has been predicted shows absolutely nothing wrong, other then the usual happenings. Honestly, I bet that the world will end on a day no one will expect, and it will most likely being many a jolly lifetime away. This Nostradamus was a great astrologer and all, but the fact is, the farther out you predict the more off your predictions are. The only reason we feel he's predicted so much recently is because of applying events to his words. This can be done with any horoscope. Try it. If his predictions were correct, then I propose that in reading his predictions and getting scared, we severely dodged our apocalypse and life goes on. After 2012, if I hear one more doomsday prediction of his I'm going to walk into a public place and scream. |

I didn't mention "Old Nostradamus" I mentioned a bit from what "I thought was from the Book of Revelations".) What are your views on the destruction of the Rain Forests, the Lungs of the World, when we wake one morning and can't breathe, who's going to to be concerned about a failing economy, we need to stay alive to save economy's, as Trees take in Carbon Monoxide and pump out Oxygen, with out the rain Forest's, it's lights out and Goodbye World. |

Well I've seen forests and I've seen satellite pictures of other forests. We're not running out of trees and we do plant new ones after we cut down old ones. I think you're just taking what the environmentalists are saying way out of proportion. The earth is not dying. It is altering, and no matter what we do, we can't stop that, so what I'm saying is that it's not something to be concerned with right now. Just something to take note of.
I mean, honestly, do you believe we'd cut down all of our air symbiotes. No, not even governments are that stupid. We are keeping things in check, trust me, the world is not ending. |

you believe Governments are not stupid, then tell me why is the destruction of the rain forests allowed to go on, you can tip the balance of nature, and it will not recover. Do you follow Green Peace at all. Joan. |

I don't mean to sound cold, but there are other forests you know. I don't know the reason why rain forests are so darn important. See, the earth has suffered millions of years of earthquakes, volcano eruptions, comet swipes, ice ages, solor flares, and still life went on. I think the only reason you green peace people are concerned is because you want to save your own skins from what your own people caused. If mother earth wants us out, then fine. As you say, it's probably already too late.
Oh, and I wasn't saying governments were smart, I was meaning they had enough sense not to kill themselves. After all, what's the profit in killing yourself? My point is, life will go on whether you like it or not. We simply don't have the power to save these "all important" rainforests or reduce ozone issues. We just don't. What I propose is we stop worrying about ending the world and look inside ourselves. Spread love, happiness, and general prosper. If we spend all our short days worrying that we're all going to die then we've lived a wasted existence. No, I don't really know what green peace is, but they probably say their mission is to save the animals and forests. They never have any true, practical way to do it. For all we know, what we're doing may be harming the planet more. |

Mmm.. Ive read up on these theories and predictions and I have come to my own theory:
I believe that the world will not end, it will mark the beginning of an era of spiritual awakening and enlightened beings. Hopefully this new world will have no pain and suffering!!!!! :smt051

I thought the world was supposed to end in 2000. I'm still here......I think. Of course the world will end one day but mankind will surely be extinct first.
