Do Angels walk amongst us?

Do you think that angels and maybe even aliens walk amongst us? There are lots of self proclaimed experts writing all sorts of nonsense in the popular press about angels and angel messages. And yet there are also many sensible people who claim that their lives being saved by an encounter with an angel or that angels have intervened to change their destiny.

Hollywood has also made many movies about angels coming down to earth. But are people today just picking up on this fantasy? Can and do angels walk with us in a physical form? Can they make contact with us? Or are people who say this away with the fairies?

Most of us do not believe in Father Christmas - but millions believe in angels?

Is this fantasy any different from believing in ghosts, spirits etc.
You would have people believe that you speak to the dead and that they answer, is that any more absurd than someone believing an angel saved them?

I dont think it is a good idea to tell Craig he is absurd because Craig certainly does communicate with the dead as do many other people I know and while I dont expect people who havent received their own evidence to accept what I have experienced, I do expect rational, analytically thinking people, to have open minds.

Craig may find it acceptable to allow you to attack mediums, mediums who will probably never see this board and therefore be unable to defend themselves, but I dont. Either substantiate your statements or be quiet!

No, my point was that Craig asked a loaded question, and my point was that what he claims he no more absurd than that he is calling nonsnese.
I am actually defending the people who believe in angels!! Not bad for a scepie

To believe in such things requires a closed mind, because i am sure you will say something like
"Nothing you ever say could convince me "insert mediums name here" is a fraud"

To have a rational, analytical and critical thinking mind, you have to be a sceptic, and as a sceptic since there exists no proof of any psychic ability or mediumship, then by its very definition a believer cannot be open minded, as they are relying on a leap of faith.

Craig is more than capable of speaking for himself, and does not need you as his parent.
Maybe you should get to know Craig a little better, instead of trying to protect him from this evil sceptic.

Well, how dare you Vi, lol, ... did you not know Jon has designs on making Craig his next 'poster child' for mediumship being a fallacy irrespective of Craig actually dedicating his life to giving evidence that the facts are otherwise. Jon, you may not believe and that is ok, but whilst you think you are singling out an individual, you are actually calling to question all mediums so why get your nose out of joint when others respond? Craig is not answerable to you, or anyone else for that matter, so whilst he is certainly capable of speaking for himself, and I imagine (from the very little that I do know him) probably quite enjoys your controversy, don't think for a second that his choices to respond or not do not come without consideration of a purpose beyond appeasing you. ...lol. :lol: Sorry, but I find your attempts rather funny. :lol:

Sure, if people can believe in God (or Allah, or by whichever name he goes in your religion), why not Angels and Leprechauns and what have you?

I believe in Angels. I most certainly do. I have met one, or a mortal coming extremely close to being an Angel.

And about the messages: I believe that when an Angel has something to say, it will just say it. It won't go through the trouble of contacting a mere mortal, posessing it and then bringing along the message..

..just my humble opinion..

hello all im a new beginner in this chat room,so please be kind to me.iwould just like to say i believe in angels walkin amoung us everyday of our lifes.but there is one thing for sure if all people found the time to sit back and listen to the angels and not preoccupie our selfs with the immaterial plan of this world we would understand ourselfs and other worlds we would have great connection with all people and the higher guidance which is god from my personal view,but god has us humans to fedback all that is happening and god has other forms of inteligences weather it be humans,spirits angels.i wonder have any of you heard the term, I SEE WITH GODS EYES LISTEN WITH GODS EARS, AND SPEAK WITH GODS TONGUE.

They reveal themselves to us in many ways.........

I think they come to us in times of distress to help us, to encourage us and to cheer us on .... I believe they do this in dreams and visions , and in a metaphorical sense, ........... Angels come to have tea with us in the form of a neighbor or a teacher, the policeman who stopped a bad guy who just stole your wallet.... The woman who smiled at you when you needed it most.............

My Sweet child of God and Rhyme
A wonder and parable told
In seized moments of experience
And grand imaginings
Can I know your soul and free thinking?
Who do you pray to
these child prayers of heaven in your short lived truths
Always running to become
Yet you do not burden with them

I myself beleive that angels walk among us. I live a very dangerous lifestyle. Many people will ask for proof of this, and all I can tell them. IS in my experiance I have been close to death over fifty times and I am not dead yet. Something is watching over me wether it is god or his angels. I can offer you no physical proof but if one can beleive in mediums, why is it so hard to beleive in angels.
